Mission Statement
Following the vision and hope of our Foundresses, Mother Veronica Cordier and Mother Adelaide Vaast, we willingly answer Christ’s call to respond to the needs of the Local Church, particularly in its pastoral service of those who are poor and needy. After the example of St. Francis, who constantly encouraged his friars to begin again, the essence of our life as Franciscans lies in our commitment to a life of continuous conversion and renewal. The fundamental Franciscan values of conversion, contemplation, poverty and minority lie at the heart of our spirituality. (Constitutions 5 & 6).
